AFTER-CARE

-
Kindly adhere to the following guidelines to ensure optimal healing following the procedure:
-
Five hours post-procedure, you may lightly splash the brow area with water. Avoid using soap or cleansers, and gently pat dry with a clean towel or tissue.
-
Refrain from applying makeup on the brows until the scabbing has fully resolved.
-
Avoid activities such as sun tanning, swimming, or excessive sweating.
-
Do not apply soap, moisturizers, makeup, creams, or sunscreen to the brow area.
-
Resist the urge to rub or pick at any dry, flaky skin or scabs.
-
When washing your face, be cautious around the eyebrow area to prevent infection. Light splashing of water is acceptable, but avoid prolonged exposure. Pat dry the brows gently instead of rubbing them.
-
Expected changes over the next 7-10 days include:
-
Swelling and redness are common in the initial days. Using soft gel ice packs can help alleviate swelling.
-
A mild stinging sensation may be experienced initially.
-
Scabbing will develop on the microstrokes, appearing dark and thick. As healing progresses, the scabs will naturally shed, potentially resulting in a patchy appearance.
-
Flaking and crusting of the skin may occur during this period.
-
Expect a fade of approximately 30% – 50% in color once the scabs fall off, which is normal. Don't be disheartened by more significant fading; the color will gradually darken again within 1-2 weeks after all scabs have shed.

A follow-up touch-up session is typically recommended, ideally scheduled at least 5 weeks after the initial appointment.
